Deutsche Bank confirms plans to relocate staff of Russian IT center

BERLIN, Apr 13 (PRIME) -- Major German bank Deutsche Bank has confirmed its plans to offer the employees of its Russian center of IT development to leave the country and keep the job, a bank spokesperson told PRIME late on Wednesday.

“We continue to reduce risks for our operations in the Russian technological center and expanded the opportunities available to our employees by adding a resignation by mutual agreement along with a relocation and keeping (the job) on the platform,” the spokesperson said.

These measures aim to minimize the negative consequences for work of the IT center “in full compliance with the Russian law,” the spokesperson said.

The Financial Times reported earlier quoting sources at the bank that Deutsche Bank plans to shut down its two IT centers in Russia that employed 1,500 people as of February 2022.
